He is an immigrant.

He is an immigrant

Delightful in so many ways

Rooted knowledge that brusted with creativity
And I was his witness

He traveled from the nation of poets.
And was he ever a poet.
With words and theories that were past from his fathers, father
past down to him.
He embraced societies ideals and personifications of a Somali man
but dedicated to the heavenly design of father, and did so with a smile.

He is a poet.
Had produced many poems.
Married a woman who took his poetry
and birthed nine metaphors.

I am a metaphor.
